| June 2004 - Taipei,
Taiwan - Thermaltake Technology, the world's leading
thermal solution provider, today released their
latest low-cost CPU cooler for Intel P4 processors.
The newest solution will be branded under Thermaltake's
TR2TT line and code named TR2 M12 SE (P/N:
A4012). TR2TT is Thermaltake's entry-level
solution product line focusing specifically on
CPU cooler ranging from Intel P4 to AMD K8 processors.
M12 SE is based on Thermaltake's renowned Opti-Fin
Technology, which is used strictly on Thermaltake's
own CPU cooling line of products. As the technology
matures and yield-rate increasing, it can now
be implemented into the low-cost solutions to
improve cooling capability. Opti-Fins technology
enables more fins to be soldered onto the copper
heat plate, which in turns increases the overall
surface area and enhances the heat dissipation
process.
On top of the all copper heat sink unit is
a 80 x 80 x 25 mm low noise fan designed to
provide maximum airflow 32.4 CFM at the minimal
noise level of 21dBA.
Good heat transfer is dependent on a good interface
between the CPU and the heat sink unit. M12
SE is prescreened with Dow Corning SC102 that
has low surface tension property which enables
them to lower the thermal resistance.
New tool-less clip mechanism allows easy installation
and removal.
